By admin
Late fashion designer Alexander McQueen has left £50,000 for the good care of his own dogs in his will, it has been revealed.
The 40 year old took his very own life in Feb . 2010 though the details of his will have only just recently been unveiled. He was seriously worth £16 million, most of which was left to charities, with his housekeepers and family members also being bequeathed cash.
£50,000 was left in a trust for his bull terriers to make sure that they spend the remainder of their own lives being pampered with the best dog supplies like luxury dog beds and dog toys.
McQueen was known as an animal lover, and his very own will mirrors that with £100,000 left each to the Blue Cross plus the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.
Spencer Wisdom, legacy manager for the animal home stated: “Alexander was a devoted animal lover and a great supporter of Battersea, and we know he would be so proud to see his generous donation helping care for the thousands of dogs and cats at Battersea in need of a new home.”
